Developing A Flat Stomach The Easy Way

You are always busy.You don't have enough time to go to the gym.You don't even have time to stand up away from your computer.But you have a dream.A model's body.A six pack abdominal glory.Want to get that dream?

There are some easy abdominal exercises that you can do even at home.Here are some exercises that can easily be done:


o Crunches : Almost all people know how to do this.

This exercise targets the upper abdomen.It's one of the basic but effective exercises.To perform crunches, you need to lie on a flat surface with your hands in your chest or behind you head.Contract your abs, then hold for 2 seconds, then return to your lying position.Proper crunches are in a continuous and controlled fashion.Concentrate on your abdominal muscles to pull your upper body up.Avoid using the neck or shoulders to push yourself up.This incorrect practice will cause stress and strains.

o Side Crunches : They are basically the same as regular crunches, except that the main focus is on the oblique muscles which are also called love handles.It also uses the same technique, only that you are crunching to either side of our abs.This would burn the sides of your abs.

o Lying Leg Lifts : This exercise targets the lower abs.with this kind of exercise, you are on the same position as with the crunches, you lie flat on your back and lift your legs six to twelve inches of the ground.This would exercise the muscles in the lower part of the abdomen.When performing leg lifts, place your hand under your buttock.It adds leverage and helps you get your feet elevated.

If you want to add more weight into the exercise, attach padded weights into your ankles.These weights can be purchased at the local sports store.If you do not want to buy weights, you can simply fill up old tube socks with enough clean, unused cat litter to make one or two pound weight.

o V- Crunches : It's almost like lying leg lifts except your chest is at a 45 degree angle starting out.Sit at the edge of a bench and reach back just enough to support yourself from completely lying on the bench.Once you've stabilized, bring your knees toward your chest.You would be creating a V motion.The base of the V would be your abs.

o Cat stretch : It's the same with the movements made by a cat when they stretch their back.This simple action is a quick and easy exercise.Get down on the floor with your hands and knees, with muscles relaxed and looking straight ahead.Next, tighten your abdominal muscles while thrusting you back upward as far as you can.Maintain the position for five counts before lowering your back.

o Bicycle Crunch : To do this, start y lying flat on the floor.Put your hand beside your head then raise knees up to 45 degrees angle and them perform a pedaling motion like what you do when you ride the bicycle.

o Standing Side Bends : Standing side bends encourages the loss of fats in the oblique muscles.To start, stand up straight with the stomach sucked in, legs straight and hands on the sides.Simply lean the body from left to right being careful not to rotate the hips and while keeping body facing front.here is a variety of side bends, this is the torso twists.Instead of bending side to side twist or rotate the upper body from left to right while keeping the legs straight.You can remove your flabby stomach and replace it with six pack abs, as long as you have disciplined and of course the will to do so.

This mix can essentially be used for treating your gums and as a whitener as well. Avoid swallowing the mix.  Banana Peels: The inner part of banana peel is very beneficial for improving the color of your teeth. It actually helps in whitening the teeth and is phenomenal. I suggest all of you must try this natural remedy at home after brushing your teeth. Yellow bananas are better than the green ones. The results will manifest in a week’s time.  Brush Your Teeth Well: You must brush your teeth after every meal. This would help you rinse all the food particles sticking within the mouth and in between your teeth.  Bar Soaps for Your Teeth: I know it sounds absurd, but it really works. Bar soaps can actually help in whitening your teeth; it works better than any toothpaste available in the market today. Also, bar soaps are effective in killing germs and removing tartar and plaque from your teeth. You can either use regular bar soaps or soaps for teeth that can be availed from any super market or nearby store. But make sure that you don’t over-use soap as it might be toxic.  Brush Your Teeth With Soda Bicarbonate: Take some soda bicarbonate in a spoon and add a few drops of water. Make a thick pate and use this for brushing your teeth. You can expect unbelievable results in very less time.  Avoid Certain Beverages: Beverages and red wine can lead to the formation of stains in your teeth. Give up tea, coffee and other beverages to prevent stains.  Avoid Certain Food Items: You must give up certain food items if you actually want to whiten your teeth. Coke, berries, curry, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, citrus fruits, tomato sauce, Popsicles, tobacco, beets and dark fruit juices are a strict no-no!  Have Teeth Whitening Fruits And Veggies: Indulge in apples, celery and carrots to whiten your teeth.  Avoid Sweets: Sweets can also cause stains in your teeth and so you need not have much sweets. Also sweets can make your teeth more sensitive.  Strawberries for Teeth Whitening: Have strawberries or spread mashed strawberries on your teeth to enhance the whiteness.  Use proper toothbrush: The toothbrush you use for brushing also has an important role to play. So use proper branded brushes and change them at least once in 2 months. Whitening your teeth isn’t really easy and you cannot expect over night results. So try these methods and carry out regularly to see the difference.

The Training Partner: Best Friend or Worst Nightmare?

A good training partner can be a great asset to your training but if you get stuck with a bad one, it could lead you down the road to frustration.Be selective when choosing a training partner.Not every person is a good one (some can be downright horrible!).

Here a few things to look out for:


1.

Punctual - Nothing is more frustrating than waiting to start a workout when you're ready to go but your partner is late.

2.Dependable - Choose someone who you are sure will show up for every scheduled workout or who will call you if they can't make it.It is a drain on your valuable energy (especially before training) to have to constantly remind and harass.

3.No personality conflict - It is obviously not a good idea to train with someone who annoys you, unless of course you want to focus that negative energy into your training.If you dread going to work out because you can't stand your partner, soon you may not work out at all.

4.Similar strength levels - Look for someone who is at the same or a little above your strength level.When your strength is the similar, you won't have to constantly switch weights.If they are stronger, it will motivate you to use heavier weights.

It is okay to lift with someone who is much stronger or much weaker than you, but be prepared to do a lot of weight switching.

5.Training level - If you are a beginner, try to find someone who knows what they are doing.You will get more out of your training than if you train with another beginner.

6.Motivation - Find someone with a similar motivation level as you.It you are gung-ho and your partner is ho-hum, you will be dragged down and your progress will suffer.If you are both "psycho," you can get some incredible workouts though!

If you are moderately intense and lift with someone who is much more intense and willing to drive you, it can spur you onto much greater intensity.

7.Attitude - Get a partner with a positive attitude.This is very important.If they constantly say that something is impossible or that they can't or you can't do something, you may end up believing them.Do not train with someone who is satisfied with no improvement.

8.Open mind - Get a partner with an open mind.Someone who has to do things his or her way all the time, will not listen to you and will not change his or her mind is not a good partner to have.

In every partnership, one person will tend to be the leader.The leader should take into account the needs and feelings of the other partner not totally ignore them.

9.Overpartnering - Do not get too many training partners.Sometimes a group of friends want to work out together.

This is okay if there aren't too many of you.You won't get a good workout if you always have to wait for your partners to do their sets and you will probably end up talking too much.Three in a group is probably the most you can deal with and even that is probably pushing it.

10.Spotting - Get someone you feel comfortable with spotting you.One of the main roles of a training partner is spotting and if you don't trust them, there's not much point in having them around to help.

11.Male/female training partners - Members of the opposite gender often make excellent training partners.Showing off is good motivator for using heavier weights or working harder.One of the obvious drawbacks might be the differing amounts of weight used.

If there is only one bench press available and one benches 300 pounds while the other benches 95 pounds, changing the weight is going to take awhile.This can be solved by having one person doing dumbell presses on the same bench rather than barbell presses.

While there are a number of advantages to having a training partner such as spotting, motivation, and companionship, there are also advantages to working alone, e.g.self-reliance, self-focus, no hassles over schedule, no one to wait for, etc.In the end, it is really up to you whether or not you want or need a training partner.

Kits that are sold in grocery stores (or online) will normally sell for between $20 and $140.If you have your dentist perform the work, you can expect to pay up to $1,000.As a less-costly alternative, your dentist can prepare a take-home bleaching kit with a customized tray for you.In most cases, you can expect to pay between $200 and $500.

Low Carb Diets - Do They Work?

For decades if not centuries, the belief was that if you stopped eating fatty foods you would lose weight, but that other foods (healthier foods) were completely okay.However, this entire belief was thrown for a loop when some individuals started inventing low carb diets - diets that had no carbohydrate rich foods like bread, rice, pasta, as well as some vegetables and fruit - all of which seemed to be very effective at helping people lose weight.

The Atkins Diet, for example, was a diet that had 0 carbohydrates but a great deal of fatty foods like meats, high protein foods as well as healthier foods like fruit.That diet was considered an amazing phenomenon, because individuals that tried it seemed to shed pounds at a rapid pace, going from large to thin in just a few months.

If you will notice, however, there is not a lot of loss of body fat in your body.With the exception of reducing your calories, you are really just eating less (which most people should do anyway) and losing water weight (which may or may not be healthy.

Risks and Safety


In addition, there are a lot of red flags about the safety of a low carb diet.

Very little is known about the health of these diets because they are all relatively new, however a few things can be garnered simply by common sense:


1.

Carbohydrates are necessary for energy.Most likely if you are now eating enough carbohydrates, you are not exercising much, in which case while you may look healthy, your heart and muscles are likely very negatively affected by the lack of physical activity.
2.High fat foods are going to be high in bad fats, as well as cholesterol, which can cause some severe health problems, including increased risk for heart attack and high blood pressure.
3.Carbohydrates have always been a part of your life, since early man.Taking them out of your diet altogether can potentially cause a number of health problems down the road even beyond the increased heart attack risk - and these will not be known because the diets are too new to research over the long term.

While these diets have shown some strong efficacy, they have potential risks.In general, a low fat, high exercise diet is going to be healthier, and poses no known risks in the short or long term.
